Distraction? What distraction?
So as I was leaving jury duty today and waiting for the traffic to clear enough to allow me to pull out into the road, I happened to take a closer look at the woman driving the mini-van directly in front of me. The picture isn’t all that clear, but that is a dog riding on her shoulders / back, and that white splotch in front?–that is another dog riding on her lap, with its paws on the wheel, helping to drive.
I know people love their pets, but this is going a little far. I mean they say changing a radio station or talking on the phone are dangerous driving distractions… what would they consider this? My dog lays on the passenger seat crying when I take him anywhere–too many memories of Vet visits–and even that distracts me. I can’t imagine him draped across my neck.
Amazing the things people will do while behind the wheel. I’ve seen people reading books, eating hamburgers, putting on makeup. I’ve seen girls with their legs up on the dash shaving, and another girl was painting her toenails. I’ve actually seen a person talking on two phones at once, and using their elbows to steer.
My little brother and his friends get pulled over at least once a month, simply because they are young and there are a lot of them piled into the same vehicle. They’ve never actually been doing anything wrong, the cops just pull them over for the heck of it (though they always have a fake reason ready to offer up as to why they are pulling the kids over), but I bet Miss K9 Taxi up there hasn’t ever been pulled over for the sort of stupidity she is demonstrating in this photo.
Some things in life just don’t make any sense.

ok..I have been guilty of eating a hamburger while driving but can’t say I ever shaved my legs or painted my toe nails lol
Regardless…she shouldnt be driving with her dogs like that. I saw someone today holding a baby, wrapped in a blanket while driving and I was shocked and a little peed off. She has no business holding that baby while driving and that baby has no business being out of a carseat.
People just don’t stop and think about anyone but themselves.
